Daniel B Lancaster explains hard things in an easy way by categorizing things and through stories and imagery. Reading his books makes me feel like I’m being taught by the loving grandpa I didn’t know I needed in my life. Sometimes the most simple and obvious things are the most perspective changing and life changing revelations. He teaches about tough things in a safe place. This book was like a hug for my heart.

Before reading this I hadn’t thought of calling Satan a narcissist, but it fits. Though the author talks a lot about caught in narcissistic relationships, it is interesting how they mimic what the devil tries to do with putting ideas into our heads. I love the strategies shared in the book of how to handle narcissistic personalities, and the Scripture verses at the end. I would definitely recommend this book.
